Ingredients
Beef rib chunks, 3 lbs
Shiitake mushrooms, 6 pcs
Carrot, 1 /2 pc
Green onion, 1 bunch
Chestnut, 1 can
Onion, 1 /2 pc
Potato, 1 pc
Sugar, 1 /4 cup
Mirin, 1 /4 cup
Soy sauce, 1 /3 cup
Ground garlic, 3 tbsp
Ginger, 1 tbsp
Sesame oil, 1 tbsp
Preparation
Step 1
Cut all vegetables into bite-size chunks.
Step 2
Make the sauce by mixing soy sauce, sugar, mirin, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
Step 3
Boil the beef ribs with the sauce and water on medium heat for about 30 minutes, until tender.
Step 4
Add the potato. When the potato is halfway cooked, add the rest of the vegetables except green onions.
