Ingredients
Pork belly, cut into bite-sized pieces, 8 oz
Potato, cut into bite-sized pieces, 1 pc
Onion, sliced, 1 /4 pc
Chopped green onion, 3 tbsp
Jalapeno, sliced, 1 pc
Gochujang (Korean chili paste), 1 tbsp
Korean chili flakes (gochugaru), 1 tbsp
Tuna sauce (or fish sauce), 2 tbsp
Soup stock coins, 2 pcs
Minced garlic, 1 tbsp
Sugar, 1 tbsp
Preparation
Step 1
Cut potato and onion into bite-sized pieces. Slice green onion and jalapeno.
Step 2
In a pot, cook pork belly with sugar over medium heat until golden brown.
Step 3
Add gochujang, gochugaru, tuna sauce, soup stock coins, green onion and garlic. Stir well, then pour in water just until ingredients are barely covered.
Step 4
Boil for about 15 minutes, or until the broth reduces to about one-third and thickens slightly.
Step 5
Add jalapeno before serving.
