Ingredients
Dried seaweed, soaked and drained, 6 oz
Minced garlic, 1 tbsp
Korean soup soy sauce, 2 tbsp
Sesame oil, 1 tbsp
Beef, cut into small pieces, 4 oz
Water, 5 cups
Korean seasoning syrup (Yondu), 2 tbsp
Salt
Preparation
Step 1
Soak the dried seaweed in water until softened, then drain and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Step 2
In a pot, cook the beef and seaweed with soy sauce and sesame oil for about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add water and Korean seasoning syrup, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for about 30 minutes.
Step 4
Season with salt to taste before serving. Simmer it longer to draw out more flavor into the soup.
Step 5
